Mike McKenny began his career with the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand with a concentration in insurance, financial service, audit and acquisition of automobile dealerships. Over the next 30 years, Mike managed various automobile operations, including M&A work and dealer owned reinsurance companies. Mike, as president of AVP, is responsible for company operations including government compliance. Mike provides industry training in both dealership and insurance operations, and participates in industry round table discussions. Pat “Shorty” McKenny began in the retail automobile business in 1979 until forming AVP in 2002. He spent his career with two organizations, rising to national sales The Warranty Experts. Shorty, as vice president and National marketing director, is responsible for AVP dealer and agent relations. He is recognized for his commitment to educating the dealer industry about the benefits of dealer owned reinsurance companies. Shorty participates in numerous industry panels.
